My little explorer simply can’t get enough of this delightful haven. After spending most days cooped up at home, he absolutely loves having the freedom to frolic and scamper in every corner of this space. The sheer joy on his face as he darts and twirls through the open space is priceless–nakakawala nga lang ng poise : )
I searched the internet to find a private beach resort in Subic with a pool but they were too expensive. Nonetheless, after more than an hour scouring online, I finally stumbled upon a beach resort that offers excellent value for its price. But still–it remains out of our price range.
The ACEA Beach Resort
We went ahead and booked the resort despite it being a bit expensive. I felt that it’s preferable to opt for a brief stay in a relaxing seaside retreat rather than settling for an extended period at a subpar location.
We managed to book two rooms, each costing 15,000 pesos per night. I must mention, though, that only two people in the room can avail of free breakfast, lunch, and dinner–something you may want to consider before making a reservation at this resort.

It may also be interesting to share that there’s this particular corner of the resort that has undeniable charm–it literally whisked me away to the sheer delight I felt during the joyful festivities of the Christmas season when I was little.
Maybe it has something to do with the cool weather and the sight of leaves gracefully falling off the trees.

A Kid -Friendly Resort Near Manila
The playground is adorned with a blanket of sand (not starkly white as that of Boracay), creating a picturesque setting that perfectly complements the vast blue sea, as you can see in the picture above.
The Beach
The beach provides a calming atmosphere, allowing you to unwind while enjoying a picturesque view of the mountains. Nonetheless, the sands adorning its shoreline pale in comparison to the silky smoothness and pristine white color of the sands found on the shores of Boracay.
The Hotel Room
The bedroom can accommodate two (2) adults and two (2) kids ages 12 yrs old and below in a room or three (3) adults without a kid in a room. There will be an additional charge for hosting an extra person in the room.
The Toilet
When I arrive at a resort, nothing spoils my experience faster than coming across a filthy toilet. It’s the ultimate mood killer that immediately raises doubts about the resort’s cleanliness and upkeep. Fortunately, in this resort, you won’t have to worry about such unpleasant surprises.
The Shower area
You’ll also find an array of bath essentials and toiletries at your disposal. From fragrant soaps to plush towels, everything has been meticulously arranged to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

This is our view from our terrace. A great place to stay in when the sun is not blazingly hot. The invigorating sea breeze creates a delightful and refreshing atmosphere that makes you feel more relaxed.
The Resort’s Dining Area
The dining area is incredibly roomy, which greatly enhances our dining experience.
We were fortunate to have arrived at the resort during a period of low occupancy, allowing us to fully enjoy the expansive space. There’s also a wide range of food options available, and each one is incredibly tasty.

*As per the memorandum by SBMA last January 30, 2023. The resumption of the collection of SBMA Environmental Fee (ETAF) is effective on February 15, 2023, under Republic Act No. 7227. Thus, payment is required upon check-in for the SBMA Environmental Fee (ETAF) of ₱100.00 net per room per night on top of the room rates and incidental deposit.
Please be advised that the resort aims to follow the existing protocols which is to only accommodate two (2) adults and two (2) kids ages 12 yrs old and below in a room or three (3) adults without a kid in a room, but the third adult will be subjected to an extra person charge of ₱ 2,000.00 per night inclusive of extra bed and breakfast. To sum it up, the ACEA resort is a relaxing vacation spot if you’re looking for a family-friendly beach resort in the Philippines. Nonetheless, there are alternative options available if you’re on a budget–and the internet is still your best ally in your search for an affordable beach resort with a sparkling pool.
